I'm using using OpenCutList extension for Sketchup. All of my parts are painted but the extension is identifying them as ONE part in the the part list. This is throwing off my quantities cut diagrams. What I am doing wrong??

If all red parts on the image are 6 instances of the same component, they are represented by only one part in the cut list with a quantity of 6.
Sounds like I'm not able to use a component copy function then. If not, I'd have to make 100% of my parts from scratch which is highly inefficient.
If it's 6 times the exact same part in your model why do you want to see 6 different parts in the cut list ?
I also don't expect to see 6 different parts on the list. I expect to see one line item for the part and an accurate quantity for how many I will be making. Seems reasonable to me.
Ok I didn't understand your question.
In this case, juste use the Cutting Diagram feature of OpenCutList :
I need you skp file to investigate your problem.
Send it to opencutlist@lairdubois.fr. Else, I can't help you.
Ok, the problem is in you model, not OCL. You just create One component that contains your 6 parts. This is bad.
Each part must be an instance of the same component.
OK this is helpful. So if I create 1 part and save as component, how do I quickly replicate that part without recreating this problem?
Boris, Disregard my last. I investigated your steps further and was able to render exactly what I need! I'm beyond thrilled. Thank you very much for your help. This app will be great for my projects.

I should add, that when I make one of these parts the functionality works as expected. It's not until I copy the parts that I start having this problem
Can you please upload your file or a minimal working example?
Would love to but can't seem to attach an SKP file.
You can't attach skp file to your question.
If you want, you can send it to opencutlist@lairdubois.fr.
