Hi,
I'm new to opencutlist and love it, however on my first model I have a problem. I have made materials for MDF, but for some of them it says "No Thickness defined", but if I click the "add thickness" button, nothing happens.
Then if i edit the material and type in the thickness (in this case 12mm) it comes up with the message "No Material found"
can someone help ? Many thanks
Paul

Hello Boris / thibault,
I read more of the forum questions and found one which was similar. I think the issue is caused by using another material as a template, and if it doesn't have the thicknesses defined then you cannot add them. I have since made fresh materials to do the same thing and it seems to work.
It would be good if the issue didn't exist, but at least there is a workaround :-)
thanks
Paul
Strange problem. Could you please send some screenshot of your problem ?
Hi Paul, make sure you select all your panels in sketchup, they all should be component and overligned in blue before editing your flow sheet. If not, it won't work.
I'm not sure if i understand clearly your problem thought, but it rings a bell from when i started to use it.
Good luck, and yes, open cut list is wonderfull.
Hi, i've attached a screenshot, what I am finding if i try and make mdoifications to some of the materials it says "no material found", i've tried various solutions but still there is the problem
I thought i'd found the solution by making a new material, but this doesn't seem to be working now
Could you try to remove the « + » from material name ?
It worked !! Thank you very much Boris - that is such a relief :-)
Paul
